Fortis bags accreditation from NABH, JCI

MOHALI: Fortis Hospital achieved the distinction of becoming the only private hospital in India to get accreditation from the National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) as well as international accreditation from the Joint Commission International (id).
In a ceremony held as part of the Seventh anniversary celebrations of the hospital, Jasbir Grewal, COO, and Dr. Ashok V Chordiya, Medical Director, unveiled the NABH certificate. NABH is a constituent autonomous board of the Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare delivery organisations. The JCI is an international organisation that has been accrediting medical facilities since 1998.
