Dr. Gaurav Gupta is an Abdominal Organ Transplant (Liver, Pancreas) and HPB surgeon who has been trained in India and the USA. He completed his MBBS and MS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He received Transplant surgery training from the University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, and UCLA. They all are very high volume and excellent centers. He has experience of performing more than 300 liver transplants as a primary surgeon. He has been instrumental in establishing three Liver Transplant Centers in Mumbai and Maharashtra from scratch. Before joining Fortis Mulund he has worked in Fortis Escorts, Wockhardt group of hospitals and Apollo Hospital.
