Padamshree Awardee Prof. (Dr.) Jitendra Mohan Hans has done pioneering work in the field of cochlear implant surgery and has joined Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj as Director- ENT. More than 3000 successful cochlear implant surgeries under his name Dr Hans is a visiting cochlear implant surgeon to the states of Chhattisgarh, Andhra-Pradesh, Madhya-Pradesh, PGI Chandigarh and many other centers in the country to perform rare & difficult CI surgeries for the hearing handicap. An advisor to UPSC and WHO, Dr Hans is closely working with many national & international institutes to perform and educate people about CI surgeries
