He bagged a Gold Medal in MCh Urology from the prestigious institute of Guinness world record fame Sion hospital, Mumbai. Before this, he has also worked at AIIMS, Delhi, RG Stone, Delhi, and AMU, Aligarh. His surgical expertise covers the entire spectrum of Genitourinary Disorders and Renal Transplants. He is a highly skilled kidney stone specialist in Delhi and NCR. He also specializes in Kidney Transplantation, Laparoscopic Urology, Laparoscopic Uro- Oncology, Laser Urological Surgery, and Reconstructive Urology (VVF repair, Female Urinary Incontinence surgery). He has done several hundred endourological procedures like PCNL, URS, flexible ureteroscopy (RIRS), TURP, TURBT, optical urethrotomy, etc. Dr. Piyush Varshney has been removing the prostate gland by laser and has used Thulium, green light, and Holmium laser.
