Dr. Priyam Sharma is a highly qualified Psychiatrist with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience. She completed her MBBS and MD Psychiatry training from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, a premier government medical institution in Northeast India. She further went on to complete her Senior Residency in Psychiatry from the prestigious Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), a tertiary Neuro-Psychiatry government hospital in Delhi. She has expertise in managing a wide range of Psychiatric conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, eating disorders, psychosexual disorders, other childhood, adult and geriatric psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders (alcohol, opioid, nicotine, and other substances), sleep disorders and headache. She also has experience in working on mental health issues of the LGBTQIA community. She has a warm, caring and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
