Dr Richa Sareen has been working in the field of Pulmonology for more than 12 years. She has done her MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College. She has done DTCD from VP Chest Institute, University of Delhi. She was the Gold Medalist of her batch and also won the best student award from the Tuberculosis Institute of India. She has done DNB in Respiratory Medicine from Fortis Hospital, Vasant kunj. She is FCCS certified. She is currently working as a Consultant in Pulmonology and Critical Care at Fortis hospital, Vasant Kunj. She is trained to do Bronchoscopies, bronchoscopic biopsies, medical thoracoscopy, all pleural and ICU procedures. She has also taken training in doing chest ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures from the prestigious ISCCM . She manages patients suffering from asthma, COPD, ILD, Bronchiectasis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, pleural effusion, lung cancer, sleep disorders and many more respiratory conditions. She has various publications in renowned national as well as international journals and keeps herself updated with the new advances in the field of respiratory medicine through various conferences and workshops. In the last 3 years, she had treated numerous COVID patients, and those with post COVID complications. She has also been part of numerous news interviews on leading news channels, spreading awareness about COVID 19 and other respiratory disorders. She also runs a "Quit Smoking" clinic, to help patients to give up on the dangerous habit of smoking.
