Dr. Sucharita Chakravarti is a Consultant in the Department of Anesthesia. She graduated from Nilratan Sircar Medical College and trained in General Medicine. After completion of post graduation in Anesthesiology, she has worked in the Intensive Care Unit at AMRI Hospital before joining Peerless Hospital. She worked in Peerless Hospitals for almost 2 years as Anesthelogist in all surgeries except cardiac surgery before joining the National Neurosciences centre a specialized Neurosciences hospital as the head of the department of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurointensive care a position held till date. She was also responsible for setting up the ITU and anesthesia set up in the same centre. Worked as a fellow in Canada at the Toronto Western Hospital for a year from 2006-2007 Toronto Western Hospital is a tertiary referral centre for orthopedic, neurosciences, Ophthalmology and day case surgeries handling complex cases.
