Fortis Hospital Mohali hosts HR conclave to reinvent the role of HR in the post pandemic era
Chandigarh, April 29, 2022: While the pandemic posed a lot of challenges but also became the accelerator for one of the greatest workplace transformation the world has ever seen. How we work, communicate, working style has been changed forever. The after-effects of the pandemic can be seen with the ongoing great resignation. Organisations across the globe have taken significant steps to make the working environment pandemic proof in which technology played a pivotal. It is really important to understand the vulnerabilities, move from traditional working models, explore models that can lead to successful outcomes and chalk out new strategies for employee welfare. To deliberate and reinvent the role of HR, Fortis Hospital Mohali recently hosted an HR an HR Conclave under the ‘Guardians of Health banner’ at RED Radisson, Mohali.
The Fortis HR Conclave 2022 was attended by more than 200 Chief Human Resources Officers, HR Directors and CEOs from leading corporates of the Tricity who shared their views on ‘Reinventing Role of HR in the New Normal-2022’.
The conclave aimed to help the HRs understand and manage the processes and the protocols introduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic such as work from home, digitization, holistic approach, well-being of the workforce and the way forward to operate in the new normal in the post-pandemic era.
The HR Conclave was inaugurated by Ashish Bhatia, Business Head, Fortis Healthcare Ltd; Abhijit Singh, Head-Strategic Business Unit; Dr Hardeep Singh, Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, Fortis Mohali; and DNV Kumara Guru, Director – External Relations at Indian School of Business (ISB).
The program was spread across three insightful sessions including Employees Mental Health & Covid 19, Reimagining the Workplace and Redefining Employee Benefits. All the sessions witnessed some great minds of leading corporates from IT, Pharma, Banking, Education, Food Corporation, Telecom, Automobile, Realty, Sports, Textiles etc. deliberated upon the challenges faced by employees during the pandemic and welfare policies that would drive the workforce in future.
