~ The Out-Patient Dept. (OPD) will offer tertiary care consultation services along with holistic pre and post-surgery care ~  

Palghar, June, 2024: S. L. Raheja Hospital, Mahim – A Fortis Associate, today announced the launch of specialized OPD Clinic for diabetic foot care at Palghar. The initiative aims to improve accessibility and provide advanced medical care for diabetic patients, addressing the critical need for effective Diabetic Foot care management in Palghar. It also offers tertiary care access to patients from Boisar, Dahanu, Vikramgad, Vada etc... 

 Diabetes is a growing global concern, affecting millions of patients who suffer from severe foot complications, particularly those aged 30-35 and older. Reduced blood flow to the feet is a common issue among these patients, significantly impacting their lifestyle. This can lead to walking difficulties, and in severe cases, may require foot amputation. The goal of launching this OPD is to address these issues promptly and provide the necessary medical intervention. 

 The OPD services in Palghar, under the aegis of Dr Arun Bal, Director - Diabetic Foot Management, S. L. Raheja Hospital, Mumbai would be led by his team of Diabetic Foot Care Specialists, along with a team of specialized nurses.
