  • Gargle warm salt water for 30–60 seconds, then spit.
  • Use a humidifier in the child’s room to relieve dry-air cough symptoms.
  • Ensure the child rests and remains comfortable.

These at-home remedies offer natural and gentle relief for coughs in children, providing comfort without the potential side effects of certain medications.
