What is Type 1 Diabetes

In this video, the doctor discusses Type 1 diabetes, also known as insulin-dependent or juvenile diabetes, which occurs when the body produces little to no insulin, leading to increased blood sugar levels. When food is consumed, it converts into glucose, serving as fuel for the body's cells. However, in Type 1 diabetes, glucose is not absorbed by the cells due to insufficient insulin production.

Mr. Mehmet Ali Aydinlar

Mr. Mehmet Ali Aydinlar, aged 66 years, was appointed to the Board of IHH Healthcare Berhad (IHH) in January 2012. Mr Mehmet Ali Aydinlar is also the Chairman of Acibadem Saglik Yatirimlari Holding A.S. (ASYH), a 90%-owned subsidiary of IHH. He was re-designated from Executive Director to Non-Executive Director of IHH on 1 March 2019 following his cessation as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ASYH.
